Rolly-Polly

In polls on April 12, 2010 by dadge

Even in 2010 it seems difficult to get all the poll numbers in one place, so I’ve collected them up and here they are:

pollster date Labour Con LibDem Others sample
Yougov 10,11 31 37 20 12 1455
Yougov 9,10 32 40 18 10 1431
ComRes 9,10 32 39 16 13 1001
Yougov 8,9 30 40 20 9 1400
Bpix 8? 31 38 20 11 2051
Yougov 7,8 31 40 18 11 1626
Harris 7,8 27 37 22 14 1012
ICM 7, 30 38 21 10 1032
Yougov 6,7 32 37 19 12 1484
Angus Reid 6,7 26 37 22 14 2193
Populus 6, 32 39 21 8 1507
Yougov 5,6 32 40 17 11 1456
Yougov 4,5 31 41 18 11 1620
Opinium 2,3,4,5 29 39 17 15 1903
Harris 1,2,3,4,5,6 28 37 19 15 2080
ICM 1,3 33 37 21 9 1001
Yougov 1,2 29 39 20 11 1503
Angus Reid 1, 27 38 20 16 1991

The rolling poll of polls, giving the weighted average from the latest batch of 5000 voters sampled is:

Con 39.0 Lab 31.2 LibDem 18.8 Others 11.0

Using these percentages, the BBC calculator produces a result of:

Con 306 Lab 269 LibDem 46 Others 29

leaving the Tories way short of victory.
